If you decide to move forward with your inquiry, expect the following:

• We research all materials and character/prop specs so we can provide you with top quality props and costumes. We request you provide us with clear pictures of the items you wish to commission. The more pictures available, the better the end result. 

o Research time can take from a couple of days to a week depending on the difficulty of the project requested.

• A non-refundable reserve will be required to start the project via our store. 

o This money will cover initial costs to make the item and reserve your time

• Times required to finish projects can heavily vary from item to item.

o You will be informed of the estimated time of completion

o Items that are required sooner may cost additional fees

o Be realistic with your expectations, just because you need it in a month doesn’t mean that’s how fast it can be produced.

• Some items may require you to fill out a form with measurements

• Requested alterations will be considered custom work and have an additional fee

• Certain times of the year are blackout dates for commissions. (April-September)

• Pictures of the process of your project may be posted on Facebook. 

o We reserve the right to do so at our discretion. We will not show the completed project to the public until after it’s been delivered.

• Upon completion of the product, your item will be posted in the store with various pictures.

• You will be responsible for the remainder of the balance plus shipping and tax if applicable for your state.

These are the general guidelines we will adhere to for any commissions we accept. We reserve the right to change these policies at any time. Although we do not normally accept commissions, we are still very appreciative of your consideration of Firedust Designs and we thank you for that.
